Privacy and cookies
The short version: the numbers you type into the calculators never leave your device. The advertising on the page is a different matter, and this explains it.

What this site collects from you
Nothing that you type. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your age, weight, height, body fat percentage, sweat measurements and training details are never transmitted to this site's servers, never written to a database, never logged, and never shared. Close the tab and they are gone. There are no accounts, no login, and no email capture anywhere on the site.
This is a deliberate architectural choice rather than a policy promise. Health information that is never collected cannot be breached, sold, or handed over in response to a legal request.
What the web host collects automatically
Like essentially every website, the server that delivers these pages records standard request logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring page. This is used for security and to understand which pages are being read. It is not linked to anything you enter in a calculator, because that information never reaches the server in the first place.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by display advertising served by Google AdSense and, potentially, other advertising partners.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove advertising from the site; it makes the advertising less relevant to you.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent notice before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, and your choice is respected. Declining consent means you see non-personalised advertising.
Analytics
Aggregate analytics may be used to count page views and understand which calculators people find useful. Any analytics in use is configured to collect page-level data only, and is never given access to calculator inputs.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination retailer may set a cookie identifying that you arrived from this site, so that any resulting purchase is credited here. This is standard for affiliate programmes and is described further on the affiliate disclosure page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under thirteen and does not knowingly collect information from them. The nutrition guidance here is written for adults; adolescent athletes have different requirements and should work with a dietitian rather than a calculator.
Your rights
Because the calculators collect nothing, there is generally nothing about you to access, correct or delete.
